Rex the Runt covers the television adventures of four dogs: the smart-arse Rex, overweight gunlover Bad Bob, long-suffering Wendy and the monosyllabic Vince. Rex and the gang go through a series of different adventures meeting other characters along the way, such as Dr. Dogg and waste disposal operative Arthur Dustcart.

Our Review: One of the more unusual shows from Aardman, the company behind the Wallace and Gromit series.

This show is well worth investigating, if only for the wide range of guests that lend their voices to the series (Paul Merton, Arthur Smith, Stanley Unwin, Bob Monkhouse, Graham Norton and Phill Jupitus are amongst the voice actors).
