- New Material: Inventive Tangent - Bill did the PR Week awards, when they had originally picked Stephen. They did not have time to reassign the hotel room he was staying. Bill's wife telephoned the staff to order some coffee and the staff member addressed her as "Mrs. Fry".

- Best Bit: Invertebrates Tangent - Stephen keeps coughing after eating the chocolate ant.

- New Material: Imbroglio Tangent - Stephen tells a joke about an Irishman who went to see the Pope and asked him to do something about his hearing. So the Pope puts his hands over the Irishman's ears, presses them down and says a prayer in Latin. The Pope asks how the Irishman's hear is now and the Irishman says, "I don't know, it's not till Wednesday."

- New Material: Illness Tangent - Stephen produces a shape-memory alloy in the form of a spoon made out of nitinol (so called because it is made out of nickel and titanium). It appears to be an ordinary metal, but if it is put into hot water the spoon will bend into the shape before it was turned into a spoon.

- Best Bit: Invertebrates Tangent - Johnny eats a scorpion brittle and Alan eats a chocolate ant.

- Best Bit: Infantile Tangent - The panel play quoits.

- Best Bit: Intelligence Tangent - Bad job interview questions.

- Best Bit: Invertebrates Tangent - Alan has tried a scorpion and tried an ant, and that's it.

- Best Bit: Inequality Tangent - The mute German baby joke.

- Best Bit: Invertebrates Tangent - Sarah still refuses to eat any insects.

- Best Bit: I-Spy Tangent - The Albert Einstein mould optical illusion.

- New Material: The Immortal Bard - The panel are given a selection of Shakespearean words which are no longer used and asked what any of them mean. The only one defined in the clip is "kickie-wickie", which is an affectionate term for a wife.

- New Material: Ice - The panel are given modelling balloons and are asked to make something with them. Alan makes a starfish and a three legged dog with an erection, Ross makes some sausages and a hat, and Sean makes what he claims is the gonorrhoea molecule.

- Best Bit: Incomprehensible Tangent - The moon most likely to be home to Ewoks.

- Best Bit: Imbroglio Tangent - Sexually transmitting Brazil nuts.

- Best Bit: Incomprehensible Tangent - Shattering Ewoks in a lake of fart.

- Best Bit: Intelligence - Asimo.
