Ally's much older husband is paranoid about his age and agrees to take part in a battle reconstruction at The Roker Vale Show. Coming up against Polson and the rest of the TA is certain to end in disaster though. 3. Eric's JobFirst Broadcast: Tue 18th January 1994
Eric has a plan to improve his life and one aspect of this involves finding a job. What he hadn't planned however, was that he would be forced to wear a dragon costume to advertise Mr. Wang's Chinese restaurant. 4. Lloydy's JobFirst Broadcast: Tue 25th January 1994
Lloydy has been keeping his job a secret for months but it is revealed in this episode. He works for a landowner who has decided to try his hand at becoming a farmer and Lloydy is entrusted with transporting a valuable koi carp from the airport. Dawn is excited about going to a ball with Eric until Hodge and Laura also announce that they will be attending. Hodge asks Lloydy to take care of the transportation but sadly he has been spending the money from his successful board game unwisely and the Cadillac which he has purchased is hardly roadworthy. 2. Laura prepares her first catering event for Jeanetta and all of Hodge's friends agree to help. At the event Laura meets Jeanetta's ex-husband Greg Scarry and her head is immediately turned. 3. Spock's LegFirst Broadcast: Sun 30th July 1995
A number of German students and their teachers are in Roker Bridge on an exchange visit and history teacher Dieter stays with Spock. Dieter, a fitness fanatic who attempts to use trendy buzzwords, isn't quite what Spock had expected but he immediately develops a rapport with fellow teacher Ingrid. 4. Lloydy decides to plough all of his money into a narrowboat much to his parents' dismay. The gang all agree to go along on its maiden voyage with far reaching consequences. Hodge tells Jeanetta that he wants to be a proper father to Kirsty; and Laura, seeing the two of them together, gets the wrong impression. Series 3 (1997)1. Hodge is entrusted with looking after Kirsty, as long as he can pass his driving test. He decides to take her to the TA Family Day. However, Kirsty goes with Lloydy on a treasure hunt, and tragedy almost ensues. 2. Eric's Won TonFirst Broadcast: Mon 28th July 1997
Mr. Wang learns that a rival Chinese restaurant is about to open and so decides to fight back with unforeseen results. 3. Lloydy's House WarmingFirst Broadcast: Mon 4th August 1997
Lloydy moves out of Hodge's caravan but only into the flat below Eric and Dawn and they are less than impressed to discover that he has brought his collection of fruit machines with him. 4. Spock's Dilated PupilFirst Broadcast: Mon 11th August 1997
Spock decides to try to help one of his underachieveing pupils and finds him a job at Mr. Wang's. On the same evening, Mr. Wang persuades Diesel to dress up as The Artist Formally Known as Prince in order to attract publicity. 5. Polson's MessFirst Broadcast: Mon 18th August 1997
It is the evening of the formal mess dinner being organised by Polson and tensions are running high. Ally has discovered that her husband has been cheating on her with his ex-wife and Eric and Hodge argue over unresolved issues. The dinner ends with the traditional melon rugby game which leads to a violent exchange between Polson and Rundle. 6. Diesel's OstrichFirst Broadcast: Mon 1st September 1997
Diesel has been investing in an ostrich and, having developed an unusually strong bond, decides to liberate the bird. The arrival of the two of them, along with Lloydy and Mel, puts paid to Hodge's attempts to spend a quiet weekend with Kirsty in a cottage. Dawn and Eric also appear and decide to get married. 7. Jeanetta's MarijuanaFirst Broadcast: Mon 8th September 1997
It is the day of Eric and Dawn's wedding which unfortunately coincides with Kirsty flying to America. They decide to delay the reception so that Hodge can rush to the airport to say an emotional farewell to his daughter. |
