Modern comedy set in Ancient rome, following a trio of very normal blokes who certainly won't make the history books. Stars Tom Rosenthal, Ryan Sampson, Jon Pointing, Tom Basden, Ellie Taylor and more.

Plebs - Series Two

All roads lead to Rome for the return of the multi-award winning comedy Plebs in a brand new eight part series.

Since series one the world has progressed (from 27BC to 26BC) but flat-mates Marcus (Tom Rosenthal), Stylax (Joel Fry) and slave Grumio (Ryan Sampson) have made no strides whatsoever.

Marcus's ongoing crush Cynthia (Sophie Coliquhoun) is still ignoring his advances, with her own slave Metella (Lydia Rose Bewley) on hand with a sarcastic quip to keep him at bay. Stylax wants Marcus to move on so that they can realize their dreams of being 'the big men of Rome'. For Stylax this also means becoming a champion charioteer. Who cares if he can't drive?

Their fearsome boss Flavia (Doon Mackichan) and water-pouring colleague, Aurelius (Tom Basden), torment them at work, whilst at home, business is booming for dodgy Landlord (Karl Theobald) who is now accompanied by massive henchman Davus (Tom Davis).

A modern comedy in an ancient setting. Follow the antics of these three under achievers on their desperate quest to live the 'when in Rome' maxim to the full.

Featuring special guest stars Simon Callow, Shaun Williamson, Neil Stuke, Lauren Socha, Tim Key, James Fleet and Paul Ritter.

Not in the UK?

Fear not! Many items can still be ordered. Amazon in the UK delivers to many international territories, whilst their Australia, USA and Canada stores also supply many equivalent or imported items.

If you are in the North America, look out for US/Canadian flag icons on popular product listings for direct links.

If you order from a UK store, please note that the UK is in Region 2 and B, respectively, for DVDs and Blu-rays - check your player's compatibility, or look for multi-region products if you are located in another region.

If you are in Australia or New Zealand (DVD Region 4), note that almost all DVDs distributed in the UK by the BBC and 2entertain are encoded for both Region 2 and Region 4. The UK and Australasia are in the same Blu-ray region (B).
