Donald McDiarmid and George McDiarmid (no relation) are best friends who live their somewhat unusual lives together in a somewhat unusual house.

This comedy follows on from the characters' exploits in the sketch series Absolutely. Don and George take their surreal lives to new lengths. Whether it is joining the army, going on dates or creating a business, nothing is impossible for them.

Our Review: Like most surreal comedy shows, this comedy is highly amusing in some parts but too weird in others. However, anyone who was a fan of Absolutely will probably love this short-lived programme.

This was one of two Absolutely spin-offs created by Jack Docherty. He also wrote and starred in the Five sitcom Mac, whose main character was similar to Scottish nationalist McGlashan.

This series is available on 4 on Demand.
