Series 1 (1995)

1. Working Girls

First Broadcast: Wed 22nd February 1995

Mandy is asked by novelist Ron Grimshaw to help him research his next book. It transpires that he's more interested in researching Mandy.

Back in the flat, Matt arranges for a rather special birthday present for Martin.

2. Matthew - A Suitable Case For Treatment

First Broadcast: Mon 6th March 1995

Matthew can not sleep and due to him playing the Manic Street Preachers at full volume in the early hours, neither can Martin or Mandy. Alone and bored in the flat, Matthew turns his attention to the pizza delivery girl.

3. Bad Timing

First Broadcast: Mon 13th March 1995

Matt's interest in Mandy's underwear leaves him in a compromising position when Mandy comes home and finds him in her bed. Martin is beaten up by some school children, which rather dampens his enthusiasm to become a teacher.

4. The Great Escape

First Broadcast: Mon 20th March 1995

Matthew and Martin spend the night discussing 'hot babes' and various lurid sexual fantasies. Mandy thinks she's in line for a dream job in Bermuda.

5. Big Wednesday

First Broadcast: Mon 27th March 1995

Martin goes on a date with Nancy, an American woman he met at the take-away. She tells him about the unusual places she's had sex and Martin duly accepts her invitation back to her flat.

6. Fame

First Broadcast: Mon 10th April 1995

Mandy is away for the weekend and Martin is out with Wally Bazoum (from the bank). Bored and alone, Matthew's peace is disturbed by a band rehearsing in the flat upstairs. There's only one thing to do: join them.

Series 2 (1996)

1. Roundheads & Cavaliers

First Broadcast: Mon 16th September 1996

Martin meets Clare, a nurse who is as desperate to lose her virginity and he is to lose his: game on!

2. Slime Surfers & Jissom Monkeys

First Broadcast: Mon 23rd September 1996

Matt confides to Mandy about the terror he feels when he's outside. Mandy arranges for her friend Jason, a psychologist, to visit Matt. Martin is boring everybody with talk of his brand new sex life, while Mandy is determined to remain celibate.

3. Double Hard Bastards & Girly Shirt-Lifting Tosspieces

First Broadcast: Mon 30th September 1996

Jason manages to coax Matt into the leaving the flat. They go to the park where Matt meets some ducks and then a gym, where he meets some gay men. Marco discovers that Mandy isn't really a virgin after Matt shows him one of his 'home movies'. Matt also finds time to foil an armed robbery.

4. Heavy Bondage & Custard Creams

First Broadcast: Mon 7th October 1996

Stoat, a former boyfriend of Mandy's, pays a visit to the flat despite the fact that he should still be in prison. Armed and not as dangerous as he thinks, he holds Matt, Martin, Clare, Jason and Mandy hostage, until Mandy finds an unusual way of disarming him.

5. Tangerine Candyfloss & Herne Bay Rock

First Broadcast: Mon 14th October 1996

Martin is depressed as his relationship with Clare has ended. Mandy decides to go back to university and a former lecturer is particularly keen to see her. Back at the flat, Martin and Mandy discover the secret thoughts of Matthew Norman Malone when they read his journal.

6. Bruce Willis & Robert De Niro Holding A Fish

First Broadcast: Mon 21st October 1996

Martin is doing voluntary work on a helpline for distressed people; he gives his phone number to one of the callers who phones the flat. Pretending to be Martin, Matt tries to flirt with her, but gets more than he bargained for when she threatens to kill herself if 'Martin' doesn't visit her. Matt ventures out into the night...

Series 3 (1998)

1. Episode 1

First Broadcast: Fri 2nd January 1998

Matt believes palmistry is the best way to seduce women, but how will he meet any if he doesn't leave the flat? Fortunately for Matt, Mandy is £9,000 in debt and a female debt collector calls. Fortunately for Mandy, her new boss, Archie, offers her an interest-free loan.

2. Episode 2

First Broadcast: Fri 9th January 1998

Martin and Mandy meet Clare in the video shop, but she is not pleased to see them. Mandy discovers why: she has a ginger-haired baby named Rosie. Archie impresses Matt with stories of his time in the Royal Marines.

3. Episode 3

First Broadcast: Fri 16th January 1998

Impressed by Archie's tales of life in the Royal Marines, Matt decides to join the Marines in honour of his dead brother Danny. Trouble is, Martin and Mandy don't recall Matt ever having a brother.

4. Episode 4

First Broadcast: Fri 23rd January 1998

Mandy has invited Archie's mother and sister to the flat for dinner, but has not extended the invitations to Matt or Martin. After struggling to cook dinner, Mandy passes out drunk. However, Matt's charm and Martin's microwave cookery prowess ensure the evening goes well, until a misunderstanding reveals a secret from Mandy's past.

5. Episode 5

First Broadcast: Fri 30th January 1998

Matt has an affair with Laura who lives in the flat above, and Martin engages a lawyer to help him prevent Clare from taking Rosie to Australia.

6. Episode 6

First Broadcast: Fri 6th February 1998

In preparation for his wedding, Archie must complete several tasks set by his friends, one of which goes horribly wrong. And while Mandy struggles to get to the church on time, Matt struggles to get to the church at all.
