After one term of university Hattie's lost all her money to an online casino, got a drug debt to a dealer who won't take 'no' for an answer and dabbled in lesbianism with a lovely girl called Sophie. So naturally parents Phil and Ramona decide it's probably best to bring her home to Wetherby for a little while. Let her get her head back together.

Despite Ramona confiscating her keys, phone and shoes and despite Phil's unmistakable delight at having his only daughter and best friend back home, Hattie's determined to escape.
