Sitcom pilot set in the fictitious Kirke University, exploring the lives and souls of a handful of people that work there: some as academics and others involved in the general running of the place.
Campus is set in a fictitious 'new' university and explores the lives and souls of a handful of people that work there - some as academics, some simply involved in the general running of the place.
Vice Chancellor of Kirke University, Jonty De Wolfe (Andy Nyman - Dead Set) swells his puffed-up chest as he surveys his crumbling kingdom. Huge debts, government cuts, the impending arrival of an icy management consultant, falling student numbers and lazy heads of department mean that his dream of dragging concrete Kirke up to red-brick status is getting harder and harder.
He's tried talking a troubled student into committing suicide, he's locked his bank manager in a stationery cupboard for being a Gaylord, and he's lost his owl. But all is not lost - for his lovely Senior Maths Lecturer Imogen Moffatt (Lisa Jackson - Bright Young Things) has written a best-selling 'Mathsbuster' and Jonty wants his staff to follow her example - even the perennially under-achieving English Professor and serial seducer Matt Beer (Joseph Millson - Quantum of Solace).
