It is St. Juniper's Day and the King strips Edmund of his title and duties in Edinburgh; fleeing the castle in rage, The Black Adder sets about creating the most fearsome band of Knights ever known in order to take the throne and rule the Kingdom.

These are the six most dangerous men in England, and Edmund plans to employ them in order to take over the throne. Edmund also attends to business in dismissing Percy and Baldrick from his service for good.
