The overoptimistic and naive Ryan Packer has formed Unthinkable Solutions, a management consultancy along with fellow misfits Daisy de Vere and Sophie Stott. The team is later joined by repulsive IT expert Owen. Their pretentious, incompetent and often downright weird 'solutions' bring chaos and sometimes downfall to the organisations, ranging from banks, local councils, department stores and the Post Office who are unlucky enough to hire their services.

Our Review: Think the Unthinkable is one of the most successful Radio 4 comedies of recent years, deservedly winning the Sony Silver award for the first series in 2001. With its well-mixed cast of oddball characters, fast-moving plots and consistently cracking laugh-a-minute dialogue it quickly gained a loyal and appreciative audience.

Coming out at the same time as The Office, Think the Unthinkable aimed at similar targets (business pomposity, management-speak) but was painted with a broader brush. Nearly seven years on from the first series, it sounds as funny and relevant as ever.
