Ahead of India's tour of England, Paul Sinha, the proudly English son of Indian immigrants, takes a comedic look at cricket and nationalism.

Born in England to Indian parents, he grew up supporting India. But in 1990, the politician Norman Tebbit suggested that immigrants who did not support England were somehow unpatriotic, which ignored the many reasons someone might not support the English cricket team, including the fact that they were rubbish.

In 2011, with a young, vibrant and exciting England team having won the World Twenty20 and three of the last four Ashes series, is it time Paul started supporting the country of his birth?
