A zany comedy by David Hodgson. Twins Chris and Liddy want to kill their granny, the shoulder-padded, high-heeled, money-crazed head of a property empire. But granny has other plans: she wants to kill her new husband on their wedding night.

Our Review: Mad. Utterly mad. The Granny Killers must be the most off-the-wall comedy we've heard in the Afternoon Play slot. It was great.

Unlike most comedy dramas on Radio 4, there was no time for any boring bits in The Granny Killers... comedy took centre stage and dominated everything. Nothing - including realism (one of the characters melts into a puddle) - was allowed to get in the way of a funny plot. A very refreshing change from the normal.
