Meanwhile with the Bearded Ladies concerns the lives of four women living on the same street in Burton-on-Sea. There is Mel, who is constantly looking for a man - any man. Then there is Lucy who has trouble raising her two children, while nearby Jo wants children more than anything else. Also, living on the street is bossy Alex, who is getting married - provided she can get through everything on her 'To Do' list that is!
