Documentary about the period after Kenny was sacked from BBC National Radio in 1970 and did the rounds of the newly launched local stations, producing his shows at his home studio in Sussex and having the reel-to-reel tapes rushed to the brodcast studio at the last minute.

Our Review: This fascinating, lovingly researched and produced documentary gives real, valuable insight into some of the lesser known work of one of Britain's most popular but underappreciated comic names of the late 20th Century.

It's almost impossible to explain just how influential Everett's work was, particularly on radio, clear signs of which can still be heard on national stations to this day - but this programme goes some way to getting across just how innovative and groundbreaking Kenny was, and the impact which his shows and approach to sound had.
