You Couldn't Make It Up is a panel show for ITV, hosted by Alexander Armstrong.

Alexander will be joined by three celebrity guests who will compete against each other by answering a variety of multiple choice questions. But it won't be that simple. Each question will have three possible answers... one of them is correct but the other two have been written by our other guests. Will our celebs be able to find the correct answer and figure out who wrote the fake ones?

The guests in the pilot were Stephen Mangan, Mel Giedroyc and Russell Kane.

Talking in The Independent, Armstrong said: "It's the synopsis game, where you read out the back cover of the book and everyone has to write the first line. It's based on that, but you have to spot the real first lines."
