A film project which is currently in development...

A new film project written by Ricky Gervais and Stephen Merchant. The film follows the exploits of two salesmen pals working for insurance giant Prudential in Reading in the 1970s. It is a 'coming-of-age' tale about the two friends growing up in the concrete 'glamour' of Reading. It is being described as Mad Men meets The Office. Filmed in the Summer of 2009.

Note: This project was originally to have been a sitcom and it has gone through a number of name changes. The project was originally titled The Men From The Pru, however this has had to be swapped to All The Young Dudes because The Prudential were not happy with the way they are being represented in the movie. It has since been changed to Cemetery Junction.
