Film based on true stories from Tony Hawks's adventure hitchhiking around Ireland with a fridge in tow.

When comedian Tony Hawks accepted a drunken bet that he couldn't hitch-hike around the whole of Ireland with a fridge, little did he know that the trip would change his life and turn him into a bestselling writer.

Tony' journey takes him around the coastline of Ireland, where he meets a series of bizarre characters. His movements are followed by radio DJ Dylan Daley (Ed Byrne) who is keeping his listeners up-to-date with how Tony is faring on his quest.

Along the way, Tony and his fridge fall for roving radio reporter Roisin (Valerie O'Connor), encounter a philosophical toiletries salesman (Sean Hughes), ride the Atlantic waves with a surfing barman, and end their trip with a triumphal entry into Dublin.

Tony learns that there is more to life than smart suits and superficial showbiz glamour. He realises that, if he has 'faith in the fridge', things will work out for the best.
