Terry Alderton rocked at the Cabaret venue. We had seen very little of his act before and bought tickets on the recommendation of a member of the courtyard bar staff and a flyer pusher (is that what we call them??. His delivery is non-stop energy and bordering on psychotic with his multiple personality voice routine. On this particular performance (Tuesday 16th August)Terry was suffering (as were we all) from a rather drunk Australian heckler who did not seem to realise he was not at all funny. What made the situation worse was that when Terry brought his to the stage and left him with a mike, he continued to try to be funny with one liners we'd all heard before-un-believable!). The way Terry dealt with this character was pure genius and made the whole performance all the more entertaining, although I understand he was extremely angry about the whole incident potentially ruining his carefully crafted act. I would say to him, don't worry-I really enjoyed your whole performance and anything you missed out I'd gladly pay to see again when you hit the Midlands. Phil
