Show Details

Rich Fulcher, from The Mighty Boosh and Snuff Box, demonstrates how to stick it to the Man. In this day and age, it's very difficult to topple dictators or even smoke a parking meter. But through a series of videos, audience experiments and petrified yogurt cups, Rich shows us how we can fight the madness simply by being ourselves. As he explains, we may not be able to overthrow governments, but we can flip off our waiter behind the menu. Note: this show is not for people who look like envelopes or llama jerky.

Full Press Release

Rich Fulcher, star of The Mighty Boosh, Snuff Box and several other less memorable shows which earned little or no money, returns to the Edinburgh Fringe 2011 armed with a legion of tens willing to follow him on his next big performance venture: Tiny Acts of Rebellion: 97 Almost Legal Ways to Stick it to the Man.

Passionately ignited by the fact that 'someone asked me to write a book', Rich scribed Tiny Acts, his first non-delusional work, as a primer on how to rebel in one's daily life because, as Rich declares, 'we can't all topple governments but we can eat soup with our fingers'.

Tiny Acts debuted at Parliament Square in 2009 when a flash-mob of circa 90 rain-drenched followers flipped off Big Ben, then went home. Ever since that moment, Rich's throngs of 'tiny acters' have taken matters into their own hands, sending suggestions, videos, threats, as well as recipes for apple crumble.

The ever-growing internet groundswell is unstoppable, with Rich spreading the gospel of Tiny Acts on such shows as The Wright Stuff, The Richard Bacon Show, and the Late Late Show Craig Ferguson (video below), his flock now demands that Rich bring a 'live' show to the masses.

Hence, Tiny Acts of Rebellion, the Live Show.
..... it's a lecture
..... it's interactive
..... it's a call to arms
..... it's fisting a giant apple crumble

Rich Fulcher rose to prominence as part of The Mighty Boosh stage show at the Edinburgh Fringe in 1998 alongside Noel Fielding and Julian Barratt, with the troupe picking up the Perrier Best Newcomer award. In the Boosh radio show, BBC television series and the live stage tours, Rich has played over 2 characters including Tommy 'Cheese' Nooka, Kodiak Jack, Eleanor, and everyone's favourite douchebag, Bob Fossil.

His other small-screen credits include BBC 3's cult hit Snuff Box, Unnatural Acts, Miranda Hart's Unwrapped, The Omid Djalili Show, Never Mind the Buzzcocks and Skins. He's also appeared on Comedy Central's The Sarah Silverman Show, Crossballs, and Adult Swim's Children's Hospital.

Rich is currently in a film High Road, starring, Rob Riggle, Horatio Sanz and Hangover 2's Ed Helms. He has also recently released a podcast to critical ignominy entitled Gone Riffin with Rich and Abed (Download).

Tiny Acts of Rebellion is directed by The Fix's Harry Deansway.
