Have been imagining kicking a football from the kitchen into the horizon a mile a half away. Does anyone else do this? If so, is the football envisaged as being at the feet or in the brain? And does the problem worsen?

Keep 'im talking, I'll phone . . . .

That's a decent alternative to flight in a highly symbolised form, yes.

It, of course, helps that you only need a mechanism to address family. :)

Exhausting week in which I've begun the legal process of divorce in earnest. The ex has taken to posting Alanis Morissette songs on Facebook as way of getting at me even though it was her who wanted to break up in the first place.

That said I must congratulate her on the choice of track as it was perfect for her delusional viewpoint - I give her top marks for that at least. :)

Juumble fail

Tuumble becomes increasingly angry with his exwife posting Alanis Morisette songs online.
And sends her an intemperate note.
Unfortunately forgetting he was infact married to Alanis Morisette.
Her response being [you oughta know] you're [unsexy]
and Tuumble ending up doing a week in prison, after which all he could say is
[man I feel like a woman]
which isn't an Alanis Morisette song
which isn't even [ironic]

sorry Tuumble I'm sure you'll get through this.

Nah, it's fine. As someone said to me this week: "You never hear anyone say, 'I had a wonderful divorce'" so I know it was never going to be a barrel of laughs. It just bugs me that as the person who lost most in the separation that I'm paying for it all even though it wasn't me that asked to break up in the first place. Unfortunately it means I have to bring up some unpleasant subjects but under the circumstances I think I'm entitled to do it on my terms - it's time for closure.

Ben doesn't fancy going out much today. Too cold.

Just spent almost $50 on dinner in a restaurant by myself. This is not productive in saving for my holiday.

But was it nice?

I always found the Careers board game far more rewarding:

Actually, I found it more rewarding than any actual career. :)

Ben has had a good day where David Baddiel has tweeted about his blog, a paid article has been completed and he's got burgers for dinner.

Time to celebrate with some scotch.

Oh yes.

Who or what is RT if not the Radio Times?

The Mormons have kindly just rung me to check that I am coping.

That's a Saturday evening.
