Britain's Got The Pop Factor And Possibly A New..

I was watching the Top 40 Chart on one of the music channels.
Guess what? Yes, that's right. That Winners Song is in the charts.

I didn't watch "Britains Got" but I was expecting that song to be... er... funny.

But it's not. It's deadly serious. The video shows Peter Kay as a woman, singing a normal, bog standard boring ballad, with the video featuring clips from the show that appear to be really poor caricatures of X Factor type twats.


There are probably people out there who have never heard of Britains Got who are thinking that this is a genuine talent show's winning song with "a fat bird that looks uncannily like Peter Kay."

What he expects to achieve from it is a mystery to me.
For starters, he's released it too early to make the Christmas No.1.

And even if it was a great parody song (which it isn't) it won't be a Christmas chart topper, because that slot will be filled by this year's real God-awful X Factor's wining song.
 

Yeah.. Last week or the week before it was no. 2! Can't believe it really...

It's another one written with Gary Barlow as well.. so it will be soppy no doubt!

I heart Gary Barlow. But really, Gaz. Be a bit more picky about who you work with.

Bit of an unfair advantage to other pop stars having a talent (cough) show like X Factor last 6 months and finish a week before Xmas.

They FINED Microsoft for having an unfair advantage because Windows is in most computers, so why not stop those bloody awful X Factor songs!!!!

Who buys them anyway?

I don't know anyone who's ever bought an X Factor record or download.
