Thanks for the advice Aaron, looking forward to buying it.
I had a word with him next door. He's gone on about the abuse and that. How when he went for a walk up the farm to see the cat and the pig, he slipped on the dog shit, broke his leg, they put a pin in it and you bit his face. And you're an alcoholic. And my brother lives in the club and he's gonna shoot you.... Angelos Epithemiou- 27th July 2010.

I'm not that interested in seeing Yus My Dear, but would love to see the original series of the show it spun-off from, Romany Jones, as it starred the under-rated comedy legend James Beck. I'll see if it is due for a release.
No, there is no release. Silly releasing the spin-off.

Yes, I'd buy Romany Jones. I remember watching all of these as a child, and really liked Arthur Mullard. I still love his 'You're the one that I want' duet with Hylda Baker. Priceless stuff.

Oh yes, a classic moment. I love it when Hylda Baker sings the lyric 'Because I need a man' Yes, the ultiamate best bad comedy record.

Network are having a "closedown" sale at the moment - a number of titles are about to be deleted, and others re-released, so what's left is being sold off cheap(ish).
The best deal is probably the complete Ripping Yarns for just £4.99. Nowhere else seems to have it in stock still, so get it whilst you can. P&P is included in the price.

However, before buying you may wish to double check stock and prices elsewhere. More information (and BSG-money-generating Amazon search) through our shopping pages: http://www.sitcom.co.uk/buy/shop.shtml

It's a reference to nightly TV closedown.

Though I've never seen it (or in fact The Army Game), Network are releasing the first series of Bootsie and Snudge. Clive Dunn's appearance is tempting me to buy it.

Mentioned that elsewhere somewhere. I'd certainly be buying it if I didn't have most of the series already (that, and a chronic lack of money).

Yes, I heard you can only afford one week in Barbados this year.
