In last night's programme, the picture connection showed the OK magazine as a "Celebrity Tabloid".

No it's not, it is a magazine - a tabloid is a newspaper that is exactly half the size of a broadsheet paper, and the reason I bring it up is I know how fussy they are when you send in questions that they are factually correct.

Unless of course you are a Senior Question Writer or the Question Editor where the rules do not apply, which is probably what happened here with double standards.

Not only that but the caption said the host is Victoria Coren Mitchell when Barbara is clearly showing...

I wondered whether any of your questions had made the cut of the episode broadcast yesterday. Agree though, OK is indeed a magazine and not a celebrity tabloid. It's pretty shite though, all the same - I was reading either that or it's similar rival in an M&S queue the other day and *yawn*.

Well I got the Game For a Laugh Question anyway

I watch 'Only Connect' until the connecting wall comes up, then I lose interest and turn off. The missing vowels round is rubbish too so I don't feel I'm missing ANYthing by turning off when I do.

And Victoria Coren doing her comedy intro is like watching a fish riding a bike. I'm sure she's witty and funny in real life but she's certainly not cut out to deliver 'funny' patter so obviously written by someone else.

The missing vowel round is my favourite as I can usually get most of those, and you are right, she doesn't write any of that - including the trivia facts with each question that makes her look well read, which people like me have to supply.

Yet again, they had one of mine on there last night and YET AGAIN they changed it and ruined it, still me name in lights and £30 so c'est la vie.
