Anyone ever watched these before?
I have seen several. Well-known individuals informally showcased their talent to an invited audience in a celebration of their careers up to that date. The audience were mainly celebrities and they asked various questions about the person's life with the emphasis on humour. This enabled some impromptu, sometimes lengthy, responses which were interspersed with memory lane anecdotes and tunes. It's good fun although the luvviedom can be overpowering and there's a strong suspicion that actually it was all heavily planned.
