What are you watching on TV? Page 2,086

Just watched Have I Got News For You on iPlayer and when it finished I saw that the repeat was being shown at the same time! Twat!

Eastenders

I'm not sure how I manage to watch it each night without firing chunks of vomit out of my nostrils

Tripe

I managed to escape the clutches of EastEnders but I used to be a regular watcher. Especially around 2005 when there were good storylines with Billy Murray and Michael Higgs. The stories and acting have gone downhill and far too often a scene ends with someone huffing and walking off. Phil and Grant are masters at it band will go "hrumph" before walking off camera as it cuts to another scene.

I just had my daily dose of Porn Stars and am waiting patiently for 24 Hours In Police Custody to start at 9pm. Amazing series.

Has anyone noticed too

Every episode and I mean every

Every episode - someone overhears a conversation they shouldn't be hearing

Someone will be earwigging at a doorway listening in

Every single episode

They must have writers meetings and someone must say "oh we forget to lazily shove in a bit where a character hears something they shouldn't"

Watch it tomorrow - if it doesn't happen at least once, I'll show my arse on Albert Square

Here's a good game, can anyone predict who will be the next- 70s/80s washed up, out of work, former sitcom actor to turn up in Corrie or Eastenders? Usually when they turn up, someone in your household will shout "its him who used to be in.....". Sadly, the chance of John Inman squaring up to Phil Mitchell has been taken away from us.

Ooh, fun game.
Large from Little and Large.

Poor old Eddie (real name Edward McGinnis) has suffered a heart attack in the past, so one wonders whether he'd be quite fit enough to cope with the rigors of being on TV any longer?

I just noticed I spelt it Porn Stars instead of the correct spelling of Pawn Stars. Rumbled.

I'd like to see Angela Rippon join Corrie. I can see her having a cameo role and end up becoming a long term character.

Aw. :(

Russ Abbot then?
I worry that anyone I mention from the 70s is either dead or ill. (Or erm, y'know.)

There's a Freudian slip if I ever saw one...

I prefer the English one, Posh Pawn. Don't think it's on at the minute though.

Ooh, Ewan McGregor's going to be in series 3 of Fargo. Might be good. I didn't like series 2 all that much, but I loved series 1.

Although apparently he is going to play two brothers - which usually annoys me as I can never believe in the characters, I'm constantly distracted and overly conscious of the fact they are the same actor. Hmm.

Anyone seen Hardcore Porn, I mean Hardcore Pawn?

Doesn't have the charm and humour of Pawn Stars because most of the customers are so mentally unstable they are either having a meltdown and hurling expletives and punches at the staff for no discernible reason or are trying to flog a relative's false teeth.

Is a bit like watching CCTV footage from the gift shop at the One Flew Over Cuckoo's Nest hospital.

Good TV . . . though I think they made about 8 and just repeat and repeat and repeat to death.

Couldn't agree more and I also found the guy and his son and daughter who ran the shop in Hardcore Porn always seemed more than willing to rip someone off by grossly underpaying. They would even brag about it later but that never happens in Pawn Stars and the team always give reasonable offers and generally seem like nice people. One woman came in with a pendant she knew nothing about and was asking for $1000 and Rick Harrison said it was more valuable than she realised and offered her $15000. She then asked for $17000 :D

I'm not sure what will happen if Chumlee is convicted of drug dealing because he is by far the most popular one in the team. I want to go to Vegas just to meet them especially The Old Man.
