the effects are pretty cool, all kind of realistic and dark, washed out colours.

That and they vapourise you, but not your clothes.

So you'd be blown to atoms and every one could see you odd socks and skid marks.

The kid character in that film does scream too much, but aside from that she's usually one of the few kid actors who's really good.
