Shoepie's Toy Reviews : Episode 2

I guess this is going to be pretty niche! But hopefully you find it funny even if you don't get all the references.

Thanks

Ha, nice punchline.

How do you do these? Do you have different heads and that, or are you manipulating a standard figure with some computer wizardry? It's a very good effect.

Thanks Nil

Yeah it's all computer wizardry. I just pop the heads off and model them later in CG. You can use photos of the toy as the texture so the 3D model is quite low poly.

There's a pic of the 'before' footage on my facebook page for anyone interested ;) https://www.facebook.com/shoepie

Looks very professional.

Shoe, I agree with Nil, very professional, unbelievable so. Apart from very faint clues with the mouth, I can't see any joins or signs of CGI. Top job!

Good sketch too.

Of course, now Lee's topped your animation with his own avatar-mation.

:D

Lol. The shades are brilliant but the monkey still looks a bit fake.

Oh and cheers. Having stared at it for weeks I now know every flaw so glad to hear it looks better with fresh eyes!
