Aren't they just called The Bonzo Dog Band?

No........now get back to yer yodelling. (I know Neil Innes)

I watched the Quo on BBC iPlayer tonight. Acoustic concert, I think to promote their upcoming acoustic tour.

Very enjoyable it was. If you like the Quo you should watch it.

The Doo Dad bit was because I did it on my phone but I can only use the excuse for the Ruttles error that I'm getting old.

Join the club. :(

But they recorded some albums under the shortened name...

According to Wilkopedia

1967 Gorilla (as The Bonzo Dog Doo-Dah Band)
1968 The Doughnut in Granny's Greenhouse (chart #40) (released as Urban Spaceman in the US.) (as Bonzo Dog Band)
1969 Tadpoles (chart #36) (as Bonzo Dog Band)
1969 Keynsham (as Bonzo Dog Band)
1972 Let's Make Up and Be Friendly (as Bonzo Dog Band)
2007 Pour l'Amour des Chiens (as The Bonzo Dog Doo-Dah Band)

I didn't even know they've released an album in 1997. I have a box set that covers 67-72.

No mention of 1997.

2007 then.

Any further bids? Or I sell to the yodeller in the fur coat.

I saw a part of the accompanying documentary. Think it was Parfitt who said that the business was "so cut throat now". A very substantial comment as - and I like the Quo - it isn't as if any of them were shrinking violets. They would have pushed hard for success so if they believe business is rough in 2015 that is proof.

Haven't heard it and would like to know if you reckon it is any good. It can't be as brilliant as the original!

Haven't listened to it yet. I will report to you.

Excellent.

A 4000 word report in perfect English on my desk by 9am tomorrow - if not there'll be serious trouble - or a line or two just thrown together whenever you can be bothered..........if indeed you can be bothered at all.

Either will suffice - and would be greatly appreciated. :)
