Sure you enjoyed it Rocker.

The band of course are really tight. Norman Watt Roy is fantastic and I understand played bass on Frankie's Relax and Dylan is the son of Yes guitarist Steve Howe.

Hope there's a live album.

Incidentally listening to one of Wilko's early band members, Lew Lewis.

Messing with the kid.

Great night !

Bye Bye Johnny was quite poignant.

Dieter Meier has just released a solo album. I don't know if it's getting any promotion outside Switzerland.

Without Boris? But I loved his soundscapes.

Here the official site for Meier's album:

I think Sheryl Crow should sue Cheryl Cole for millions.

Everytime I hear the words Sheryl C on the radio I mentally switch off. Then I realise it's Miss Crow who I quite like.

Make the Geordie bitch pay and change her name to Cheryl whatever she was before she got married.

They should fight each other to the death

Preferably nude

Sheryl would kick the shit out of the Geordie bastard

Sick

Nudeness would help, then?

Just also got Eden by Everything but the Girl. A lovely album I've been wanting to get on CD for ages.

One of George Kaplan's more recent posts in the "What are you listening to now"-thread inspired me to think about "cover homages" or just simply similar artwork:

Originals and "copies"

Saw and replied to Johnny's post before I read yours. :D

Forgot about this one...Hendrix' Electric Ladyland and a compilation by the German punk band Die Toten Hosen

...and with this I've posted more tits than George Roper in a month! ;)

I'm adding this Paul Young cover to a previous example:

I haven't researched this but I'm sure it must be same artist who designed these three "tasteful" covers. Must have been to go to guy in the mid to late 80s.

Individually those covers all make me shudder a bit, but now seeing them as a triptych I'm starting to feel a bit queasy.

Daughter is a European indie folk band originating from England. Fronted by North London native Elena Tonra, they were formed in 2010 after the addition of Swiss-born guitarist Igor Haefeli and drummer Remi Aguilella from France.
