The hat, the nerdy glasses...Tweedy is slowly turning into Elvis Costello!

Found this old pic of me and my old buddy Neil Tennant from 2000:

I told my mates I know a Swiss puppet with a dodgy wig that knows Neil Tennant. They didn't believe me, but now I have proof, Ha !

Much as I love the Pet Shop Boys can someone explain what their lyrics are about. Is it just a heavy dose of sarcasm ? We're "S.H.O.P.P.I.N.G, we're shopping" ?

The hat conceals a growing bald spot. ;)

This looks pretty good...the first six Cars albums for £20. Not out til March, mind.

Isn't that a contradiction?

Laughing out loud

Ok, let's call it an "enlarging" bald spot.

Just bought Tiny Tim's debut album. Found it relatively cheap in a bookstore. Thank you Horseradish and Herc for mentioning him here a few month ago, without you I wouldn't have realised what a gem this is.

Tip toe through the tulips. :D

Was somebody applying a clamp to his nuts?

Is anyone else on the Pledge Music site?

I've pledged for the new Mari Wilson album - her of the beehive fame.

The idea is basically you buy the album in advance to help fund the recording/release of CDs or albums.

I'm also tempted by the new recording with extra tracks of Rick Wakeman's King Arthur album.

Bands of almost every size are using it these days. My friends have funded their last 3 albums that way and just released a live CD and DVD. Major labels are useless for all but the largest of acts. Bands are starting to form their own labels and/or crowdsourcing their releases.

Even fairly "big" acts tend to make most of their money from performing these days. Album sales are a drop in the bucket.

Devon Allman is playing at my regular club in a couple of weeks.

£15 a ticket. Should I make the effort?

He's the son of God (AKA Gregg A.), so....hell yes!!

Interesting. You look like you and you don't look like you. That's because auras are the fullest picture. :)
