On Friday 25 March, we'll be joining forces for a day of teaching comedy writing for radio. A week later, on Friday 1st April, we'll be in the same place thinking specifically about sitcom for television.

Places for both courses are limited, to find out more go to

and read James's sitcom blog at http://sitcomgeek.blogspot.com/

James was my script editor on RFTP. He is a genius. I don't know Dave, though I met him once, but I have read much of his wisdom elsewhere.

I suspect this is a very, very worthwhile opportunity.

I also had James as my script editor on RFTP and worked with him at the Greenbelt festival so I'll definitely be seeing if I can scrape up the dosh to grab a place.

I'm going on this. Anyone else let me know so I know who I'm meeting. Unless I've already met you.

Just a quick reminder

On Friday 25 March, James Cary and I will be joining forces for a day of teaching how to make a living writing comedy, concentrating on radio. A week later, on Friday 1st April, we'll be in the same place thinking specifically about sitcom for television.

There are a couple of places left for the 25th and three for the 1st, so if you'd like to come, do contact us as soon as possible. Check the details at:

http://davecohen.squarespace.com/acade-me/

and read James's sitcom blog at http://sitcomgeek.blogspot.com/

If there's any places left when I get paid next Monday, and if I can get a day off in the middle of the biggest regulatory inspection we've had in ten years, then I'll try to get on this!

Yes. Unfortunately where I work has an irritating habit of immediately rescheduling important stuff to exactly where I've just booked time off.

Assuming there are places left, I'll be on the Radio one on Friday.

With any luck I'll get work to pay for it and be able to do the TV one as well.

Anyone else booked onto these?
