That's never right (somebody called Joe Francis)

This article's a few years old, so it's probably even more relevant now:

It does feel like the web's lost it's cosy, community feel. Things like Twitter and Facebook just don't have that friendly, engaging atmosphere which chatrooms and forums used to create.

I used to enjoy the chatrooms. I remember having a conversation once with a banana farmer in Algeria. It seemed to me it was much more international.

I know exactly what you mean!

Banana farmer! Banana farmer! Banana. Farmer!

I don't know why I bother staying up until 1/1.30am to banter with you lot.

Insomnia?

What's his military rank got to do with this?

Well this is the General thread.

Is this a private matter?

No major problem for sure. >_<

Does it have a rating?

I bought a £20 kettle today and was amazed that it had an 8 page instruction manual.

They pointed out such things as 'be sure to turn the power on at the socket'

'Don't point the kettle at yourself when it is about to boil'

'Always use the handle to lift the kettle'

'Warning kettles produce hot steam'

Never fill to the brim

And on it went for 8 pages.....

I made myself a cup of tea while I read it :)

A £20 kettle? Oh la-dee-dah!

I boil my tea with the rage I get from reading the Daily Mail... Bloody immigrants... Teas up!
