So good.

Bought that one today.

Ramones - 53rd and 3rd

Eventually got the Wilko/Daltrey album. How difficult can it be!

No record shops in Epsom where I was working or Redhill where I live. Started a new job in Shepherds Bush and sold out at HMV. Had to go to HMV Bond Street.

Anyway on first hearing thought Daltrey's voice sounded too gruff. Beginning to grow on me now.

Should be seeing Wilko next week as support to Quo.

It's all over now by the Faces on my ipod on the train to Oxford.

Wilko can barely sing, but I think his manic yelping fits better. IMHO

We're in synch again, Gordon. :)

Nearly posted "Slow Walking Daddy" the other day - crazy vocals. Turned up on an indie compilation cd I got recently. Don't really know their stuff though - one of those names I kept hearing about, but never properly delved into.

I contains everything you need by them, I think.
This is not easy listening but very rewarding once you "get it". A strange kind of art punk...crazy stuff!
