It's a bit late.
But the 2008 award needs to be decided before judging on the 2009 competition can begin.
The shortlist has been sent to the anonymous judges and the winners & runners up will be posted on this thread as soon as we get the results.

Oh no! I dealt with one but not another! You can either deal with this in general or not at all.
Seriously though Steve, this is for peoples work to be looked over a judged now, not from 2 years ago, sorry mate.

Thank you, thank you.
I can honestly say, I have never won an award this late on...
Genuine thanks to everyone. It was (honestly!) completely unexpected (given the time frame).
This is my first writing award and it will have pride of place on that most virtual of sideboards: my BSG (as it still was in 2008) profile!
(With thanks Steve, of course, for his organisational skills in organising this award)

Yay to Dan and well done to the runners up but in Kanye West stylie I'd like to interrupt your little speech DS and remind everyone what a great sketcher Mr Sunshine is.
All hail the Sunshine.

As one of the anonymous judges of this contest, can I just say that it's bollocks.

I don't care so much about being anonymous. I'm quite happy to tell people I don't like their sketches, I'd hope they'd do the same.

I like Morrace - he's funny. Why's he not on the list Steve? We need a new category for best feedback/ rewrite of a sketch.

Thanks Ms West.
And yes well done Dan! And the rest of you, I'd give you prize or something but if I ever meet you a pat on the back and a half of cheap beer will have to do.
Oh and Steve well done you have put in time and effort into this and it should be well recognised I tip my invisible cap.
