Comedy Records

What comedy/ novelty records by actors/ actresses can people remember?

I have one by Joan Sims from 1963 called Spring Song and it has a B- Side, Men.

She did 2 others but I can only find details for one of the singles Hurry Up Gran/ Oh Not Again Ken. They were produced by George Martin.

From what I remember it might have had the words Girl and Golden Hair in the title, but I could be way off.

Anyone able to help?

What others can people think of?

I have wanted to get Neil Pye's Heavy Concept Album for ages.

I used to have a couple of Python ones which were ace and a copy of Ernie which was also ace.

Peter Sellers - Songs for Swinging Sellers
was quite good.

Possibly not really 'novelty' records, but Vic Reeves has done lots.
Solo ones, and that one with The Wonderstuff, and I'm A Believer with EMF. They were ace.

Vic Reeves' version of Vienna is inspired genius.

There's also:

Terry Scott - My Brother
Bernard Cribbins - Right Said Fred
Tony Hawks (as Morris Minor) - Stutter Rap
Chris Barrie (Spitting Image) - The Chicken Song

Charlie Drake - Hello My Darlings
Jasper Carrot - Funky Moped/The Magic Roundabout
René and Yvette - Je T'aime
The Goodies - Funky Gibbon (and a number of others)
Peter Sellers & Sophia Loren - Bangers And Mash
Bernard Breslaw - You Need Feet

And many more.

I think Morecambe & Wise may have released Bring Me Sunshine too.

Kevin 'Bloody' Wilson did the rounds at my school. I'd probablly cringe hearing it now though

Gordon is a Moron - Jilted John.
I've Never Met a Nice South African - Spitting Image.

There are some listed here https://www.comedy.co.uk/forums/thread/13066

Worst thing is that I remember Vic Reeves version of Dizzy :(

I think it was a normal record at the time - bit cheesy now though.

Well it wasn't 50 years ago!
It was a good song, that.

Vic Reeves also did Born Free: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=vbhTAnHVObQ

And, less well known, Vic did Abide With Me too: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Xw4fLpzD8iQ

Harry Enfield as Loadsamoney: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=abpk-eSzoEE

...and even if unintentionally...

Anyone old enough will remember Ray Stevens "The Streak" being played ad nauseum, until every unfunny line became a torture worthy of Abu Ghraib.
