Does it matter what it is if you enjoy it? ;-)
Actually, is it a sketch show or a sitcom?
I'm a big League fan, so am looking forward to this anyway, but if it's a sitcom rather than a sketch show (which to me just sounds exactly the same as League of Gentlemen) then I'm looking forward to it even more.

Ah, found the synopsis:
Quote
Written by the Leagsters for BBC Two, Psychoville is a dark character comedy mystery featuring characters from all over the UK, who each receive a mysterious letter.
They include a blind man with a curious collection, a midwife with a very odd child, a dwarf who's in love with his panto Snow White and a one-handed clown and children's entertainer with a hook.
Yet despite having different backgrounds, different interests, and coming from different parts of the country, every one has been sent an anonymous, black-edged card which reads: "I know what you did..."
Sounds more sitcom-ish, intriguing. Hope it isn't too daaaark, in expense of jokes though, but usually the League are good gag-writers.

Yes, if only there was a site which provided genre classification, show synopses, and other such details.

Wow, very excited about this one!
I'm glad they're not just doing a new League Of Gentlemen...for one, the entire "League" isn't involved, so it wouldn't be right. Plus, this gives Reece and Steve chance to create brand new characters and a new kinda evil! Love it!
Is it too early for speculation...if not, anybody want to have a guess at what they "did" at this early, EARLY stage?

Dawn French appears in the series, so I'd say: YES!
As much use as a dolly bird in a cagoule.

New clip from the series and small article here at the Guardian media section. It looks very funny. And horrible. No more than you'd expect!

David Bamber! Ace.
Great. Am late with mad hair and can barely breathe in scary knickers.
