Oh wow! Booty! I don't remember completing any games right up until I had a Snes but I do remember playing Booty!

Yes, but what a frustrating game. I don't see how anyone could complete it on the C64 - I'm pretty sure we never got past the first level, which was I think collecting the brass key and then you had to collect the silver and gold one. Impossible!!!!! Angry Grrrr!

Far Cry 4.
Didn't like it much at first but I persevered.....It's a great game with unbelievable graphics and story.

Far Cry: Primal looks interesting.

Got back into The Witcher III, it's such a pretty game -

Just had the Gog summer sale and now the Steam one so went a bit mad and now spoilt for choice.

Currently playing Everyone's Gone to the Rapture which is...different and I'm not even sure I'd call it a game. Still interesting though. And after that probably XCom 2.

I bought Zelda Breath of the Wild on the Switch recently when it was on special offer
And I've got a little bit addicted
What a fantastic game

My Nephews just got the recent sequel, So I'm having a little go at that, but I've still got plenty to do on the original game

Last game I played was The Last Of Us 2

Phenomenal

Yes it looks great
I've had a little go on the first game
And did enjoy the TV series

It's s credit to the story telling that they used so much of the game in the show
Production values are high on video games these days

I bought Sniper Elite 4 when Steam were having a sale.
I played a bit in easy mode and it was good - but not much of a challenge.
So I restarted it in full realistic mode. The AI of the enemy (Germans) is now cranked to full.
They are so smart.
One of the thrills is to get to the top of a tower and find a good sniping spot, making sure you have left plenty trip mines behind you on the way up.
In easy mode, they walk straight on them and you are alerted that they are coming up.
In realistic mode, they silently diffuse them and sneak up behind you.
It's a game of wits, skill and tension. Brilliant.

And I gamble from time to time, so I play in online casinos. Not a long time ago, I came across this page https://terracasino-ca.com/quatro-casino/ , where I read a pretty detailed Quatro Casino Review, and now I play there. I'm lucky to find such a review because I was looking for a new casino, and this one is just perfect.

I also got Sniper Elite 4 some time ago and can say that it's a pretty good game.
And also I play Days Gone - not a new one, but for sure worth playing

Just about to take the final boss on in Zelda TOTK
Which is an incredible game
Did see how many hours I'd racked up and it was a bit more than I would have expected lol it was over a week in total
But I've enjoyed it a lot.

If I complete this then I need to go back and finish the first one Breath of the WIld

Red Dead Redemption 2

The level of detail in the 'world' is utterly insane

No wonder it takes Rock Star Games ten years to make their games

It would be a dream job to work for a developer like Rockstar or Bethesda. Oblivion is my favourite game of all time and a few months ago I started to learn how to use the construction set which is the tool Bethesda used to create the game. I've been meaning to do it for years and it's been hard work with a lot of reading but I'm now well on the way to designing a large quest mod for Oblivion. I've already published my first mod which was a modest affair but the next one is going to be much more ambitious. I'm still trying to think of a good storyline because it's the story and characters that make a game memorable but I can carry on building the levels and characters and add the story and character names later.

Sir Terry Pratchett was a big fan of Oblivion and praised the high fantasy game world. Sir Terry even worked with a modder called Emma to expand on her follower mod, Vilja which Emma also fully voiced. When Sir Terry started to have problems with his memory and would find himself stuck inside a cave or dungeon he and Emma created a new feature for Vilja which would guide the player out. I have Vilja installed but I've never tried that feature. Touching story though.

I always nerd out to this video and am in awe at how such a small group of people could create something so breathtakingly, indescribably beautiful. Don't even get me started on the in-game music.

In the 80's I wrote and sold 2 games for The ZX Spectrum.
A company in Hull bought them, Artic I think.
The first was compiled basic and it was a horse racing game
I then learned assembly language and wrote a Disco game (that could get rude)
I wanted music in the second game so I decompiled Matthew Smith's Manic Miner to see how he did it.
That was the end of my game writing - I was up against a genius.
