No harm no foul Paul. Thanks Chappers. That is a good way of putting it.

Scientists have discovered the sun can damage the sight as well as the skin. They recommend if you don't want to wear sunglasses and prefer to show off your white bits, then you should apply Factor 20 20 on each eyeball.

If it was me, I wouldn't have cared eider way.

I was going to tell her to get stuffed. But she wouldn't have cottoned on.

California bans plastic bags. Celebrities will have to go to another state for their breast implants.

This act is a bit Steven Wright without his droll tones. What about trying to identify with your audience? What about a beginning, middle and end? Can't just have content on its own, normally.

The police are to start using Segways to catch unemployed people working on the side. It's to be called Operation Giroscope.

For God's sake man don't you listen to people when they say you're boring them?

The dropping of charges against Greville Janner for offences against children is usefully timed for a possible Labour victory. Jack Dromey, who was on the NCCL executive at the time that PIE advocated lowering the age of consent to 4, is expected to have Ministerial responsibilities for the police. Dromey is married to the DPM in waiting, Harriet Harman, who was the legal adviser to NCCL while the head honcho at NCCL was Patricia Hewitt, Neil Kinnock's ex Press Secretary and a Blairite S of S for Health. Hewitt is godmother to one of Harman's children and in 1983 - the year NCCL policy changed and Janner stepped down as MP for Leicester West - it was Hewitt who became that constituency's MP.

In next week's episode:

Lenox Hewitt, 97, Ted Heath, Blunt, Roy Jenkins, Ian Fleming, Northern Ireland and the Royal Family.

Not turning up for discussions is another vote loser?

Did you mean 4 or 14? Whatever those Labour wankers should all be strung up (by their balls or tits) for supporting PIE.

Just get over it!

Did you mean 4 or 14? Whatever those Labour wankers should all be strung up (by their balls or tits) for supporting PIE.

Arguably 4.

Although what I should have said is "The Independent newspaper said in February 2014 that Hewitt (of the NCCL executive) 'allegedly backed lowering the age of consent to 10'". That was its position.

http://www.independent.co.uk/news/uk/home-news/pie-controversy-shadow-police-minister-jack-dromey-denies-supporting-call-for-age-of-consent-to-be-lowered-to-10-9160362.html

So the NCCL executive didn't advocate 4 as such. I used the wrong word in the above post.

But:

Quote from the following website:

"A page from PIE's manifesto in 1975 which proposes that there be no age of consent.......in other words almost any child over the age of 4 (under 4 and it still wouldn't be a 'criminal' matter) could be a victim. This manifesto was widely available and handed out at various (NCCL) conferences for 50p".

http://biasedbbc.org/blog/2014/02/24/manufacturing-the-age-of-consent/

While it is also important to clarify the NCCL Executive did not officially propose an age of consent of 4 to Parliament either, PIE were full affiilates of NCCL. The age proposed in 1976 by NCCL was 12 or 10 depending on interpretation. It was really 10 as they felt it was ok if it could be demonstrated by someone older there had been consent. Details of that position are also on the "Biased BBC" website.

I have now edited my original post so that it is entirely accurate.
