Has anyone seen the advert on E4?

I've not seen the trailer, but I get the impression it's not all that great.
The trailers made me laugh, definitely looks promising.
I happen to have seen the first couple of episodes... I really, really enjoyed it: it's aimed at the young 'Skins' market, but manages to do a better job of crossing over into appealing to all. They've certainly done a good job of accurately re-creating what it was like to be that age (definitely more so than Coming Of Age has)
Much more detail to follow in our in-depth guide, coming next week.

Quote: Aaron @ April 19 2008, 10:13 AM BSTWow, I wasn't expecting that. Is it a sitcom proper, or a "comedy drama".
Sounds good to me!
I've only seen the ad where the girl in the wheelchair gets hit by a frisbee.
Seen the clips from this on the website, looks like more typical E4 Skins type stuff. Wank jokes mainly.
It's a shame because there is a need for a 'school life' sitcom on TV, but these type of shows always feel as if they are written by middle-aged men and their ideas of what 'school life' is like. And yeah some bits are accurate but the jokes tend be fully focused on what kids find funny at like 12 years old and it's fine to show that side of school life but that can't be your actual main joke, in my opinion.
Plus they always seem to be very upbeat and colourful with a bouncy indie soundtrack and shot in an American style.
I want a more realistic school life sitcom. A British equivalent to Freaks and Geeks I guess is what we should be aiming for. I think a school life sitcom shot more like The Office and less like The OC would be really appealing.

Quote: Seefacts @ April 20 2008, 10:33 PM BSTI always get very excited when I see on the forum portal bit that a thread I've posted on has gone to the top of the list.
"Ohh, look, someone's posted a considered reply to further the debate . . . Oh, no, it's just Aaron with too much time on his hands."

Quote: Seefacts @ April 20 2008, 10:05 PM BSTSadly producers can't grasp the fact that NO KIDS EVER IN THE WORLD are like the one off Skins - the most poorly written program ever made.
It's the law to portray teen on telly as drug taking, wanking, poncy, confident, shagging machines. When no teen is like that.
It just seems really uninspired, puking and wank gags. It's kind of like taking that school immaturity, which yes needs to be represented in a school sitcom, but it is using that as it's main joke, so instead of combining that with characters that are actually funny and can comment on the 'childishness' going on around them, they just have everyone acting like a 13 year old, with jokes written for 13 year olds.
I mean, the disabled kid unintenionally getting hurt! What next? Somone bad mouthing a teacher who turns out to be stood behind them..Oops!
To me it just seems lazy and uninspired. But yeah judge it on it's merits and all that.
For those that are interested our guide to this show is now here:
http://www.comedy.co.uk/guide/tv/inbetweeners/
I think I'll give it a chance first. I love the way people pre-judge it and then say they'll give it a chance!
I didn't have a problem with the disabled scene as the whole point of the scene was 'how badly can trying to impress a girl go?' and I thought it doesn't get much worse than that.
I don't understand why people are finding it so hard to find it funny. Has everyone lost their sense of humour (even the childish kind) ?!
One thing everyone seems to be overlooking is how talented the four main guys are; their characters are all totally different, well developed and have fantastic comic timing allowing even the normal (ie minus penis jokes) conversations to be very entertaining in that particular brand of effortless British comedy.
I've just spent the last few weeks watching all of the Freaks & Geeks boxset which is probably why I don't find this show funny or original. Although Freaks & Geeks is set in an American High School I find it much more relatable than this show. For example I remember teachers making you write lines, but I don't remember somebody puking into the face of a mate's little sister.

So I guess people are being open minded and passing such judgement on the trailers alone?
Yes, I agree. But some of the opinions being expressed were far more than "vague conclusions". However, if Martin says that it's already been leaked - and thus implying that he's seen the whole of the first episode - then his comments are fair. Mark's seen the first few as well, so anything he says is also fair. Other people I can't speak for.
Just watched the trailers.
Why have they cast a 25 year old as someone who goes to school?
I have to say, certain bits seemed okay (not all that funny, but at least it wasn't given that horrible e4 "aren't we quirky and down wiv da kidz" type feel to it) so I may take a look. Though the fact they've done an American style 'lets cast people 10 years older than the parts they're playing is a bit off putting'.
Written by Ian Morris and Damon Beesley (who had characters in Extras named after them, of course) Morris scripted edited Peep Show.
Yeah the kids are too old, it's alright if you can get someone in their 20's that look 16/17 but a couple of those guys look much older than the age they're playing. Kind of like The OC I guess.
That's why Freaks and Geeks is so great because most of the actors were the same age of the characters, or a couple of years off. I think Martin Starr and Samm Levine were 16 playing 14 year olds but they could easily pass off as 14 and John Daley was actually 14 the same age as his character. I don't mean to keep harping on about Freaks and Geeks but it's definitely worth checking out for a different, original, realistic and funny school life sitcom.
I quite like it when older people play school kids - you can then fancy them in uniform without it seeming wrong
Ha!
So true...
LOL.
Mark, I'm sorry to have to inform you that Emma Watson was born in Paris.
sorry I started another thread without seeing this one, I personaly like the look of it and think it is more the real life for teenagers - not the glamour wannabe skins but the way things are. I found all the trailers funny, and laughed out load at the frisbee clip on e4.com
After seeing the trailer, the first words out of my mouth were "why the hell do I fancy men?".
'Cos the people in the advert are most likely scum and in no way representative of all men?
Oh Aaron *shakes head* How simple you make life.
Life is simple.
World = bitch. That's it.
Oh I'm depressed now.
Just watched the first two episodes. I wasn't expecting to like it much, if at all, but it's very, very funny. Episode two particularly. Was laughing all the way through.
This programme receives the Aaron Seal of Approval.
Quote: zooo @ May 1 2008, 12:04 AM BSTOh I'm depressed now.
I think it might be one of the best programmes ever.

Frankly, I couldn't stop laughing. I loved the fact it was so juvenile. And the fact we all probably know some people like that. It was kind of like "Superbad," but set in England in some weird way. I think the main guy has great career ahead of him. He reminds me of a young David Mitchell. Still laugh at the "I've got a receipt," joke.
I'll probably edit this post to make it sound better later.
Quote: hotzappa11 @ May 1 2008, 11:27 PM BSTFrankly, I couldn't stop laughing. I loved the fact it was so juvenile.
I laughed out loud loads too.
William was like a mini Stephen Mangan, and the blonde Caravan Club one had all the characteristics of another famous comedy actor, but I can't think who.
I really enjoyed it! Had me laughing out loud a good few times. I felt the acting was a little... dodgy, but the characters were loveable enough for that not to matter. On the whole I'm not a fan of V.O's like that, it feels like an easy way to make jokes. But still, very good.
I'm kind of annoyed I missed it now, although I guess it will be repeated several times over the next week.
I'll try and catch it when it is. I was put off by some pretty horrible reviews but I like to give things a try when folks on this site give it the thumbs up.
Does anyone know when the first repeat session is by chance?
I thought it was okay, nothing particularly special, and nothing we haven't seen before. I've also got a hideous feeling that there's going to be an awful lot of these comedies over the coming years as channels desperately try to chase this particular demographic.
I enjoyed it, had quite a few LOL moments.
Quote: monkeybeard @ May 2 2008, 9:20 AM BSTI was put off by some pretty horrible reviews
Reviews do carry weight, especially with such a lot of shows out there demanding our attention. Often it's not possible to watch everything so you go with a review.
Wow. This is a whole new side of life I never knew existed. :-/
(No. Seriously.)
Quote: Aaron @ May 2 2008, 10:47 AM BSTWow. Possibly the first person in history to pay attention to reviews?
Plus, negative reviews are fun. Positive reviews are a bit dreary, you really want to see the reviewer get his knife out and bury it in the programs back. And reviewers know this.
Very true. My friend reviews CDs in his column and he just loves it when a bad one comes along. Chance to be a lot more creative with his wording!
I honestly wouldn't even know where to look for reviews!
Call yourself half internet! The reviews are out there, and they are wanting you to read them...read the reviews Aaron...read them....

People object to laughter tracks because they can sometimes be intrusive. And reviews don't tell people what to watch, but they can contribute to whether you watch something. Especially if it's not something that tickled your fancy and you were in two minds about watching it in the first place.
Faaaaair enough. I'd still much rather watch and make my own mind up whether to tune in again, but each to their own.
Have you received a bad review at some point Aaron?
You seem quite angry about them
I know what you mean though. Sometimes I really hate myself for believing a review and then actually watching said programme/film and find that I really like it.

Watched both episodes now, brilliant I thought. Really funny and light with great characters; I hope it manages to stay at somewhee near this level for the rest of the series.
What a splendid load of fun The Inbetweeners is. Proper jokes and everything. I watched the first catch-up episode and laughed like a big fool. And I have the second waiting for me at home. I've been buttonholing colleagues all day and imploring them to watch tonight. I even dragged one of them into my office so he could watch a few clips on the You Tube.
I've got all three on tape now and I'll watch them over the weekend and tell you what I think.
I'm still dubious.....
I quite enjoyed it - watched an episode last night...as I'm still at an age where I can remember what it was like at 6th form - I quite enjoyed it. There were a couple of adult jokes slipped in, subtly too!.
Considering the two writers are in their forties they have done a good job of capturing that age. It's still pretty light on laughs, though.
I thought this was drivel. Badly acted, no flow, quite unrealistic even though it feigns to be so and annoying.
I think the young actors in it are trying to hard and the script is bullshit

I really liked it. I didn't think it was like Skins at all. It was almost the polar opposite in terms of youth drama - unsexy, uncool characters and mundane lives. The 4 characters were really well defined and there were a lot of really funny moments, especially in the dialogue ("oh yeah? Well I wet your mum's bed... with spunk!"). It seemed true to life in a way, the 4 actors are brilliant, especially the geeky one. Very good comedic use of swearing, too

Good again last night; not up to the standard of the first two episodes, but still good fun.

some good lines, very witty!
I really like skinss too!
Looking forward to this one tonight.
The show has been getting a lot of good reviews. It looks like the surprise comedy hit.
Another good episode, a lot better than last weeks with some cracking lines mostly about Neil being poor and his dad being gay. Also hot girls.
"FRIEND! FUCKING FRIEND!"
Edit: The bit at the end where they went to see Will was nice.
Yep, a step back up from last weeks; very good.
I think it captures quite well what teenage boys are like together too, the way they constantly take the piss out of each other. That stupid 'friend' thing a good example, and all the 'your dads gay' stuff.
Really enjoyed it.
It effortlessly likeable. And you end up thinking that yes, they'd make good friends to have.
If it gets a second series, it should go straight to C4 to give it a boost.
Agreed with all of that really. Made me laugh out loud a lot, which is rare, and Will is strangely identifiable. I wonder why...
Anyway, very funny show, and back on form after a relatively disappointing 3rd episode last week. More please!

Towards the end, just after the lass upset him on the blind date thing and he went home to be comforted by his mam if I remember correctly
I'm fairly sure that song is "She's Got You High" by Mumm-Ra, have a look for that on iTunes or summit.
Oh, was anyone else in hysterics when one of them started doing the Crazy Frog?
Not quite hysterics, but it was a moment of classic TV!
Does anyone else think the stupid boy is just a little bit too stupid?
That is literally the only criticism I can come up with for the show. And it's not exactly a big one.
Nah, I've known people like him. He's fairly typical, scarily.
Yes it was shes got you high, thanks very much
I've known people a bit like him to
Really?
Well then, I retract said criticism and mark it perfect.
Got to say that although it's not hilarious, it does have some funny moments and it is very likeable.
Maybe that is because I am able to relate to what they are going through a lot more than the characters of Skins which is the other big "Yoof" programme.
Another good episode! The ending of the 'friends!!' thing was a little unrealistic, though.
It's on tonight, don't forget.
Surprise hit of the year by the looks of it.

What a novel idea.
Nice interview. Can't wait for tonight's episode.
I caught The Inbetweeners by accident after watching The Big Bang Theory last week and it is a very funny sitcom and is a more accurate potrayal of teenagers than Skins which I enjoyed as well. Certainly most of the traits of the characters were similar if not identical to people I knew at school.
If Channel 4 have sense, they should move it to a Friday Night slot in the summer or autumn.
I caught some more of this last week and it actually raised a couple of chuckles from me (it was the one with the yellow Fiat stuck between the funeral cars). Not as bad as I had initially thought and much more appealing than Skins.
However I still don't find it a realistic portrayal of British school life and still think there is room on TV for a sitcom about proper school life.
Write one then.

Quote: Seefacts @ May 22 2008, 10:28 PM BSTI don't think UK schools have cliques in the same mould as jocks, preps etc.
To me UK schools just have the following:
Chavs (20%)
The normal, likeable kids (35%) * contains sporty guys, a few geeks too *
The thick kids (15%) * the sort who all now work in shops *
The scummy kids (10%) * the sort who rumours go round about eating a dog for Xmas dinner etc *
The Manga loving, porno watching, games playing, irritating dolts (10%)
The quiet ones who no f**ker ever remembers (10%)
Nice!

*scratches head*
I'm proba- No. Erm. *scratches head some more* Not a clue.
"My eyes are burning."
"I'm going to be put on some kind of sex register."
"She wanked me off a couple of times."
It was good episode with some great lines, but not as funny as some of the others.
Yeah, slightly less on the laughs, but what they managed to get themselves into made up for that, for me.
And really tragic to see Jay's family life too - a nice counter to his character.
Same with Neil's awesome dancing.
I missed it again.
Is there an E4 + 1 + 1?

No. But it's repeated a couple of times during the week.
That was a good episode, but I have some bones to pick; the punk girl character seemed very unrealistic, so did Will's reaction, which stuck out as the rest of the show is so believable, also the stupid friend is seeming a little 2dimensional at the moment, all he is is stupid, at least it seems that way to me. The rest of it was good - It was interesting seeing another, more vulnerable side to Jay's character.
Great interview too, I hope there is a second series.
"If you ever get asked to have sex, never do a skid"
Great episode, I'm loving this series more and more and it's scarily like my teenage years (I'm not saying which parts though)

I must admit, this show is growing on me, and I think it's already been succesful enough to get a second series, but I'm not overly impressed by the casting.
Liked last night episode, wasn't the funniest but left me wanting more.
I loved the skidding bit.

I think I floated between the geeks n pop, although more the geeks, even worse the "roleplay geeks" lol. Although I never really took part in AD&D or whatever it was called.
Anal Dungeons and Dragons?
Probably.
I love skidding!
That punk girl doesn't know the meeeaning of the word punk.
Punks skid. Definitely.
You've seen it now then Zooo!
I think it might be a favourite of mine at the moment.

Right, I watched episode 6 this morning. Have to say, it's not the best. Certainly the lightest on laughs. But still very realistic, very funny in places, and entertaining. Ties things up nicely, with enough room for a second series. Pity that the show went downhill a bit (from a peak of episode 3, probably), but still probably the best new series so far this year.
And I won't spoil it for anyone by going further.
The more I watch this show the more in love with it I fall.
For those that haven't yet seen, we've got a competition running at the moment to win some Inbetweeners DVDs / props:
http://www.sitcom.co.uk/competitions/inbetweeners.shtml
Probably one of the funniest things on at the moment. First episode was ok but since it has been really good.
One of the funniest things that I have ever seen in my entire life and easily the best thing that E4 that has ever produced. I must admit, I have a fairly low opinion of E4 (as well as Channel 4) but this has definitely earned it some browny points.
The dialogue is wonderful. All the idiotic conversations, taking the piss out of each other, obsessing over girls who probably wouldn't give you the time of day. It's all so perfect. Basically, it's the most accurate depiction of what it's like to be a 17 year old boy that you're ever likely to see on television. I had three really goods friends that I hung around with in school most of the time so I can definitely relate to it.
Agreed!

Because I'm a geek who sits near his PC, I'll give some closing thoughts.
Brilliant. Surprise hit of the year.
All four characters come across brilliantly, despite the being 'lived' through Will, they all had stand out moments. Jay's delivery is quite superb and he never fails to raise a laugh. He's such a realistic character and every line is spot on.
The way Jay (who started off as 2D) gradually got fleshed out and you could sympathise with him, was real well executed.
The use of Simon as the 'everyman' character - a la Tim from The Office was a masterstroke, and the juxtaposition of Neil being a dummy with the fact he gets the most action than anyone was a nice move on the writer's part.
I'm not totally sure about Will and the blonde bird mind, that's slightly out of the realism realms but other than that it's been fantastic.
Oh, that was a lovely ending. 'Cause I want to be a director, I really loved the last shots of them all laying around one the trampoline, with their large shadows.
I grew to like Jay more, his moments with the guy who kept eating the burgers showed a different side to him, which we all needed to see. His delivery of the line "I didn't have no f**king chips," was brilliant, and I'm glad Simon never told Carly his feelings, just yet anyway.
I also liked the bit where Mark threatened Will, and everyone turned on him, so to speak. Then as Will was about to make his peech they all turned away. Hopefully, I'll add more to this.
"A bit too jazzy?"
"That sounds a little rapey."
Watched this for the first time today. I've now seen all apart from the last 2, I f**king love it! It's so much better than Skins. It's so realistic it's scary. And I think I've found something I'll enjoy quoting more than Alan Partridge.
"Please don't wank over my mum"
"She'll be frothing at the gash!"
I heart Jay! By the end of the series he was my favourite.
And I've just realised who he reminds me of.

(Er, sorry Jay...)
Haha! I know what zooo's been watching today. But you're right though.
Hee!!
Does Jay remind anyone else of Russell Howard too?
Quote: NickTheDon @ May 31 2008, 2:55 PM BSTDoes Jay remind anyone else of Russell Howard too?
I've just started watching this today (slow day).
On episode 5 and it's a great little show, contray to what some people have been saying 6th form isn't really like that, but it's still a funny show and I'll keep watching.
PS - I love 4OD
I dunno, personally I can relate to a lot of the stuff that's happening. Sure some of it's pretty exaggerated, but a lot of it is eerily similar.
Oh yeah, he does look a bit Russell Howardish!
I'm sure he'd prefer that comparison too.

The head of my 6th form was a wanker to, but I decided 6th form wasn't for me, and quit 2/3 weeks later. I kind of regret it but I guess that's life. *shrugs*
Quote: Paul W @ May 31 2008, 6:05 PM BSTAnd the house parties - but pulling the "Hottest" girl at them isn't, they always havea boyfriend who doesn't go to the school and is a raging drug addict of some sort.
Quote: PhQnix @ May 31 2008, 11:56 PM BSTI go to an all boys school, so the hottest girl at our school is at least 25 and a teacher...
But the story line involving Will getting together with a hot girl is quite ridiculous, probably quite far from any geek's 'real life.' But otherwise the show is a more accurate representation of Sixth Form life than anything else.
We're not that stupid though, are we?

Doing a bit of re-watching, I've realised Jay is a bit like someone from Grange Hill circa 1979. His accent is straight out of the 70s.

I agreed because I thought he sounded like Phil Daniels in Quadrophenia, and that was actually released in 1979.
It actually made me think of 1980s Grange Hill too, when I was watching it. Can't remember if it was specifically Jay though.

BSG Exclusive! (Well, for now anyway.)
I've just been informed that The Inbetweeners has been commissioned for a second series, planned to air in 2009. No other details available at present, but we will of course bring all updates as we get them.
A big BSG well done to everyone involved! We're already looking forward to it.
Wahey! I'm glad. Can't see it going beyond a second series though, they will have finished school then. Unless they pick it up after christmas and finish the second series at the end of lower sixth?
I'm rambling, anyway, hooray for a second series!
Good news \o/
Yipeeee!
Watched all of this over the weekend (except episode 2 which I didn't record for some reason). It was good, I approve.
Agree with Seefacts about Simon being the 'Tim' character, although it seemed to go further than that: he *was* Martin Freeman in his expressions, reactions and (especially) banter and put-downs.
The 'witty repartee' between Will and the blonde one was excellent.
Roll on Spring Term.
Dan

Yayyyy!
They should just do a Simpsons and stay the same age forever.
I recommend the DVD, it's ace.
The commentaries are a laugh - all four of the cast come across as very funny.
And it's worth seeing the making of documentary simply to see how camp the guy who plays Donovan the bully actually is in real life!
This would be a nice little DVD to own. I'll go own it now

Well looks like I wont need to buy the DVD now, thank you marathon nights
Just got the dvd after missing it on E4 and think this is a cracking comedy...
I'm patiently waiting for the one episode I missed to come up in the repeat.
It's taking tooo long!!!
Random interview with Neil from the Inbetweeners on a video game podcast, its all at the start:

Bump!
http://www.broadcastnow.co.uk/news/2008/10/us_remake_for_inbetweeners.html
E4 sitcom The Inbetweeners is headed for a US remake.
US network ABC has ordered a pilot from creators Iain Morris and Damon Beesley, who will adapt the show with a US writer.
The network has also given the pair a second blind script commitment for a future project.
Morris and Beesley's indie Bwark is currently in production on a second series of the comedy, which was E4's first original sitcom.
It centres around four teenage boys in suburbia and their doomed quest to meet girls, buy alcohol and get into the best parties.
Morris and Beesley pitched it to ABC as Superbad meets Freeks and Geeks and plan to set the remake in a US high school.
The pair also wrote an episode of the first series of HBO's Flight of the Conchords.
I had a feeling this would happen but I don't know how they're going to make it work mostly because of the swearing.
Sounds promising for them. Good luck guys!
It does indeed sound promising. I'm so sick of those idiotic glamourised American shows like "90210" or "One Tree Hill" or "The O.C". They're just shallow and irritating and all the characters have really made-up sounding names. "Freaks and Geeks" had more depth on a level that those shows couldn't even approach and was extremely believable. And as for "Superbad", in spite of all the crude humour, had a lot of depth as well.
I imagine there is a big potential market for The Inbetweeners USA... like you say, we're all fed up by glamourised high-school dramas we see, so just think how sick to the teeth all their 'normal' teenagers must be.
The Office is the only successful UK to US comedy translation since, well, I can't think of the last. I suspect a US exec will ruin the Inbetweeners too: "But how about we, like, make these kids all really hot looking"
A reminder that The Inbetweeners Series 1 starts showing on Channel 4 a bit later tonight, at 11:10pm.
Just watched the first series on Virgin TV choice.
Excellent stuff ! I really enjoyed it.
And lo & behold I see that series 2 starts this Thursday.
Niiiice.

Really liked the Inbetweeners, don't think an American version will work at all, it'll be just trying to imitate that whole Freaks and Geeks style
Oh wait that's what they even describe it as there.
I've only just got round to watching this!
It's very funny! Certainly more realistic than Skins and seems like the kind of thing BBC Three would kill for. The language is crude at times, but somehow it comes across as being very likable. Well done E4.
Does anyone else think that Will is a younger version of Mark Corrigan?

I've never actually seen this programme, but if I had a penny from every person who told me to watch it, I'd have a butler called Jives. So I today borrowed the first series from my brother, I'm hoping to enjoy it.
Quote: Jack Massey @ May 19 2009, 6:42 PM BSTif I had a penny from every person who told me to watch it, I'd have a butler called Jives.
Just watched episode 1. It shouldn't have been funny, but it was. Shagging Mum jokes I had hoped I'd grown out of, but they really made me laugh. I was in pain from laughter at times through it. Brought back memories when I was in my first year at sixth Form, we'd been out to a pub and got served and then we went to another pub and the barman said 'Have you got any ID lads?' and my mate replied 'My dick's my ID'
Really enjoyed the first episode and am looking forward to viewing the rest of the series.
Just watched episode 2. I really do love it, it is one of many new sitcoms I've tried lately (Pardon the Expression, well acted, but not funny) that has really made me laugh loud.
Surprised you thought that about Pardon The Expression! I found it highly amusing. Wish I'd pre-ordered the DVD though. A bit pricey at the moment.
But on-topic, you can never grow old of any kind of jokes, certainly not excellnt mum-shagging ones. It's all in the delivery.
I know it isn't a Pardon the Expression thread, but I'll just quickly say that Arthur Lowe was brilliant as ever, but the scripts just weren't that funny in my opinion. But I will give the second series a go as looking at the guest-cast for series 2 and there are some great guest appearances to look forward to, so I will buy the second series and will come up with hopefully a much more positive conclusion. In fact in truth, I'm only half way through the first series at the minute.
Really liked episode three aswell, paticulary the Inconsiderate Arseholes bit.
Episode four was also quite brilliant. Loved this exchange between Will and Charlotte (the girl he is dating)
CHARLOTTE: So, have you lost your viginity?
WILL: (Lying) Yes
CHARLOTTE: So when did you lose it?
WILL: I lost it in Australia. In 2005
CHARLOTTE: What, so you were thirteen
WILL: Yes. I was very mature for my age
CHARLOTTE: So, did you lose it to an older woman then?
WILL: No, she was a couple of years younger than me actually
CHARLOTTE: What, she was eleven
WILL: (Awkwardly) Yep.
Finished the first series, absolutely loved it.
I watched the first two episodes of this today. A wee bit late I know.
Loved it
Looking forward to watching the rest of Series 1 and then bring on Series 2, woot woot!!

I'm falling in love with The Inbetweeners.
It's the type of humour that I'm probably supposed to have grown out of but I didn't. It's my guilty pleasure.
When does the next series start?
Next year some time.
Quote: Aaron @ October 30 2009, 1:36 PM BSTNext year some time.
The kid who plays Will is fantastic - he's enormously talented, great timing, all that. The others are just a little less convincing, with the possible exception of the slightly earnest one with the bit of sticky-up hair.
It's good stuff, all in all. I'm puzzled if you prefer Freaks And Geeks 'cos surely it rings less bells.
