It's certainly up there with Dark Knight Rises and Looper as the most anticipated films of next year.

Looper seems really interesting yeah, though I think the idea that Joseph Gorden-Levitt is going to look like Bruce Willis when he's a bit older unlikely! They should have just put a grey wig on him. And a grey beard.

I'm still waiting for a film where Joshua Jackson plays George Clooney's son. They are freakishly similar.

And has Christian Slater still not played Jack Nicholson's son yet?

Lots of people moaning that they can't hear what Bane is saying in the trailer or the six minute opening shown before the Imax viewings of Mission Impossible. I've seen both, one a crappy copy uploaded to the internet, and seemed to be able to make out what he was saying perfectly well.

I think perhaps his mother had a secret to-do with George about 30 years back.

The football pitch bit does look awesome, although there's definitely a mumbly quality to Bane.

I have high hopes and low expectations for this. Very excited nonetheless!

Ha, I'm hoping (against every piece of knowledge accumulated over my life) that this will be as good as Iron Man & Thor were and not as rubbish as Captain America and The Hulk.

Joss Whedon's last film was one of the best sci fi films of the last ten years, so if anyone can make The Avengers work it's him.

Ooh. 'Splosions and an eyepatch. Fun.
