:( RIP.

Seconded, thirded and fourthded, yet another one no one saw coming.

As a friend of mine posted on Facebook when Bowie went
"Would those wishing to give death a kicking please form an orderly queue"

A true great. Bury's best. RIP.

Shocked.

Massive talent.

Dinnerladies rocked.

RIP

I imagine that the Beeb will line up some suitable tributes. Flipping heck, I was only talking about her the other day whilst watching The Interviews: Julie Walters.

Very sad news indeed. RIP Victoria Wood. I loved her as Bren in dinnerladies.

Acorn Antiques for me and her "Let's Do It" song...............

"Bend me backwards over me hostess trolley" Laughing out loud

"Beat on the bottom with the Woman's Weekly" Laughing out loud

Brilliant..........

Beat me on the bottom with the womans's weekly is the first thing I thought of when I heard the news. Very sad because she was incredibly funny and a lovely, warm person. An audience with Victoria Wood prooved it because they were in tears of laughter.

Shocked and stunned.

We've lost one of the best comedians, writers and actors of our age.
A national treasure.

RIP

Oh no. I didn't know.

RIP Victoria.

She had been a bit quiet of late. Did nobody know?

Don't usually contribute to celebrity RIP threads but this one has me genuinely shocked. Too young for such an enduring talent. I thought there would be lots more to come.

I too was very shocked to hear the sad news; I've watched Victoria Wood since I was a child and have always loved her work. A very special and talented lady. :(
