I am always open to suggestions for good music radio in Australia.

A 70s rock station or a 90s and since indie.

I monitor most places including this website.

It's unofficial but in everyone's best interests while they are asleep. :D

I usually wake up to this station, http://www.96fm.com.au/

Looks good.

Thanks.

I've known three sets of people who have moved to Australia.

Two I worked with. One lot were neighbours.

But I've never been further than Greece so have to travel further via media. :)

I have never been to Greece, I have just got back from the UK and Dubai, I have traveled to quite a few places however there it is always great to return home.

Cool.

I've been round most of Western Europe and went travelling with the Australians when I worked in Geneva. It was wild. One was exactly like Crocodile Dundee. The other one wasn't but he did have visits from kangaroos to his back garden. That's the difference between Perth and Canberra I guess.

We have Roos across the road from us and also emu's however they chase your car, we have bobtails and snakes in the garden, bobtails are great not too found of the snakes.

I think I've heard of it. Wonder if that is where the guy in Geneva came from. He was a scientist type. He'd describe how he used to go to see the wildlife on the islands off Perth although when I travelled in their car we were going over snowy mountains in Switzerland and France. It was good. I'd get there on a Sunday and the Brits would all say "we're having a quiet night, we'll see you in work tomorrow". Really miserable. Then I'd get to my place and the Aussies would be hammering on the door with whiskey in hand saying let's go out on the town. They weren't happy until I'd become an Australian.

The island would be Rotto (Rottnest), Aussies do like to drink and will use any excuse for a party.

My neighbours went to Perth but I think they have moved now to somewhere else. Other folk are in Sydney and Melbourne. Hey, Strumpet, it has been good to chat with you but I had better clock off.

I've got to monitor other places like the local satellite station, the BBC World Service and the airports.

G'day to you. :D

Welcome to the forum strumpet.

Ha! Just watched a doc. on Channel 5 about this "Deep-Sea Super Predator" that kills Giant Whites :O off that coast. Of course, typical Channel 5 doc., you know there is not going to be such a beast as it would certainly have made the news prior to the prog., BUT nonetheless I made for fascinating viewing.

They had tagged a Giant White and it disappeared, its tag appearing weeks later washed up on shore, so the Great White had been attacked.

The prime suspects were a giant squid, or an Orca which could do this or another super size Giant White as apparently they are known to cannibalise, and when they came across a 5 metre Great White (again :O ) it seemed that was the so called Super Predator.

Here on Channel 5 on demand if you can access it:-

Do you often go for a dip in the sea off your coast? Laughing out loud
