Hit comic music act Frisky & Mannish have been described as like "Smash Hits with claws" and "more redolent of a flashy turn by Lady Gaga than your average comedy club night." With music running through their blood, they're the ideal duo to turn to for some opinions about X Factor...

Each week Frisky & Mannish are filming their thoughts about the singing competition for the internet, as they explained to us: "As a natural extension to our #xfactor tweetalongs, we are branching out into the world of video-blogging / vidblogs / vlogs / whatevs - because sometimes, 120 characters are just not enough. Besides, extensive touring leaves little room for Saturday night realtime tweeting. Not to mention, there are those times when you just need 24 hours to sleep on what you've seen (Wagner, Chico, Goldie with scarf, etc.). So, generously, we've decided to share with you not only our academic observations and playground tauntings, but also our faces."

Expect rigorous analysis ("What precise semantic change has been wrought by the colloquial vernacular of 2 Shoes?"), questions of aesthetics ("Where did Janet Devlin's eyes go?"), and even the odd musical masterclass for the benefit of contestant and audient alike."
