Colfilmic founder Janet Harrison says of the 2014 festival: "As always, I am amazed by the creativity and ideas which come through each year from the film makers and sketch writer/performers. It is great to see new people submitting who have not entered the competition before and also to see those who have, progress from previous years.

"Support from the comedy industry generally was strong this year with commissioners, writers and film production companies all represented and keen to find exciting new talent."
