An Audience With Jasper Carrott, the six-part TV show from 1978, is being released on DVD and is in shops from 28th February 2011.

Jasper Carrott first came to national attention in 1975 with his hit Funky Moped/Magic Roundabout. Thirty-five years on, he remains one of Britain's best-loved comic performers. His many awards include a BAFTA and a Lifetime Achievement Award at the British Comedy Awards. He has twice been voted TV Personality of the Year, and received an OBE in 2003 in recognition of his work for charity. This DVD is a perfect chance to see Carrott at his best.

Having made several appearances on regional television during the mid-seventies, Jasper launched An Audience With Jasper Carrott in 1978. It was a storming success, earning him a Pye Award as Outstanding New Personality and making him a household name.
