The Interviews

Spike Milligan is the subject of the final episode of this series which uses footage from chat shows to re-look at the story behind some of British comedy's greatest people. Star of The Goon Show and other surreal programmes, Milligan's comedy style was very distinctive. Sadly some of his genius probably came from the severe bipolar disorder he suffered from, and the ten or more serious mental breakdowns he endured. Gold, 9pm. Guide
